Find the fitting Track chain:
Track chains, also known as caterpillar tracks or continuous tracks, are a type of vehicle propulsion system used in various heavy machinery and military vehicles to provide enhanced traction and mobility over challenging terrains. They consist of a continuous band of treads, driven by wheels, that encircles the vehicle, allowing it to move smoothly over soft, uneven, or rough surfaces where traditional wheels would struggle.
The basic structure of a track chain system includes the chain itself, made up of multiple interlinked metal or rubber segments, and a set of drive wheels and rollers. The drive wheels, often powered by the vehicle’s engine, engage with the chain segments to propel the vehicle forward or backward. Rollers and idler wheels support the chain and help distribute the vehicle’s weight evenly across the ground, reducing ground pressure and preventing the vehicle from sinking into soft surfaces.
